A very good bakery with a wide selection and very good craftsmanship. You can definitely taste the quality here and this is also reflected in the constantly full shop. However, the measures are very often not adhered to, which means that only 20 centimeters separate me from the next customer.

The whole of Germany is in a tough lockdown, but a small bakery stands up to the applicable distance and hygiene regulations and that in the middle of the state capital ... I can only agree with some of the previous speakers: there is virtually no gap between the staff and the customers. I am really horrified. Case for the public order office!

I like to stand in line here at the weekend, but you don't have to wait long even when there is a large number of customers. Different breads are always offered seasonally, so that it never gets boring in the bread selection and you can always surprise yourself with something new and the super-nice staff always manages that I still have a nut stick next to my beloved Harzer nut stick take other bread to go with the meal. The buckwheat bread tastes very tasty and is also suitable for people who are gluten intolerant. TOP

Because of the long queue and the good guest reviews, I bought the famous Black Forest here in small for 2 €. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, that's exactly how I like it and it was worth waiting in line. I'll be back!

A bakery with the most extensive bread selection. Fresh goods every day. Special breads are offered monthly and seasonally. Very good presentation - be it on the shelves, counters and the beautiful shop window. Friendly sales team. Even with a large number of customers, you don't have to wait long.

After a short wait in a small batch, I was served very friendly. The breads and pastries are presented very transparently and questions about the products are explained in a very friendly and not as know-it-all way as in some bakery chains. The breads taste very good and exactly as you would expect real bread. Definitely worth shopping.

One word: delicious! I'm pretty picky with my baked goods; I figure if I'm going to be consuming that much butter and/or sugar, it better be good. Hinkel does not disappoint. If you go buy, do try the elsässer bread (with pistachios and hazelnuts) - I could put away an entire loaf in a day.

A large selection of breads, so you don't know which one to take first. All breads are delicious. An extra praise for the specialist staff. The shop assistants are very friendly and give excellent advice. We love to go shopping here.

The staff are nicer to German-speaking people, but they try to help English speakers. They take all the baked goods away from all the displays before closing time. We were rushed when it was near closing time. The desserts are okay but the pretzel isn't good.

Best bakery in town, for sure. Fresh everything, huge assortment. I've been here many times and have never come away disappointed. Friendly helpful staff that sometimes hands little kids fresh little sweet breads. Super busy on Saturday mornings, but for a good reason, and they compensate well with more staff. If I could give it a thousand stars, I would! Love, love, love.
